Following on from our article on Topical Clusters, lets look at a way that we can create some detailed Topical Maps for ANY industry using this (not so) simple prompt.
What is Perplexity AI?
Perplexity AI is a free AI chatbot that doubles as a smart search engine. Powered by machine learning and natural language processing, it engages in intelligent conversations to understand your queries and provide insightful answers, including source links.
What can you do with Perplexity AI?
Conversational Search
Perplexity ditches the boring search box for a chat-style interface. Just ask questions like you're talking to a friend, and the AI will scour the web to craft natural language responses packed with insights.
Context is Key
The conversation doesn't end there! Keep firing follow-up questions, and Perplexity will tailor its answers based on the context from previous exchanges. It's like having an expert on-call to dive deeper into any topic.
How do I use it to generate a Topical Map?
We've been using Perplexity AI as our preferred AI Chatbot for some time now and been playing around with ways it can be used in SEO.
One of the most unique ways which we have used it is to generate Topical Maps for your niche. We love it that much, we've decided to give you the prompt for free. All you need to do is head on over to Perplexity AI and paste it in, changing the word YOUR NICHE to your relevant keyword. So, without further ado, here it is:
For the keyword YOUR NICHE, I want you to create a topical map for SEO.
This should include 5 semantically relevant but unique topics under the niche in the right language in the format laid out below.
Each topic must be relevant to the topic of the niche.
Reduce each to 3-4 word length keywords.
Prioritise the list by semantic relevance.
Include keywords in English only.
Niche - YOUR NICHE
Under each keyword, I want you to provide 3 top of funnel (TOF) keywords or phrases, 3 middle of funnel (MOF) keywords or phrases and 3 bottom of funnel (BOF) keywords or phrases.
Each TOF, MOF and BOF keyword will have a further 3 possible search queries for each.
Don't just use keywords like Buy, or Purchase. Think about what people may search for at each stage of the funnel and make the keywords meaningful.

In total, this should generate 5 semantic keywords, each having 9 additional keywords for each stage of the funnel, plus the relevant possible search queries.
No coding to be provided in the response.
This will be around the service of supplying YOUR NICHE, rather than a forum, course or seminar, so please only focus on this. Do not include anything related to these queries.
